HOW Management Matters offers a motivational and practical skills development programme that is delivered within the workplace on a 121 basis and is bespoke to the individual learner. This allows for a more immersive and supportive experience that works in parallel with managers’ day to day role. It consists of 9 hours contact time delivered over a 3 month period. No more lost days to training attending workshops.

This programme is ideally suited to “accidental” managers who are skilled in their role and are promoted and find themselves responsible for the management of staff which is outside their scope of expertise.

This programme impacts positively on not only managers and leaders but their staff. Staff are encouraged to contribute to a 360* skills audit thereby becoming more engaged with their managers and more focused on contributing to their organisations productivity. Staff managed by a good manager are less likely to leave their job.

A unique online, interactive skills hub provides learners with their own skills development account whilst part of the programme. This allows for the development of understanding, knowledge and practical strategies whilst within their working environment. Additional guidance and encouragement during the programme is delivered via the hub. Online support is provided for 3 months.



This  3 hour workshop is designed for groups of 6 people. It is not specifically work orientated but it does give staff the space and encouragement to make their ideas a reality.

Staff who feel valued by their employer are loyal and hardworking. This workshop could be used as a ‘thank you’ or alongside a businesses’ existing thrive and rewards programme.



This is available to individuals who are looking for someone outside their organisation or field of expertise to provide mentoring. A supportive relationship is created to assist in encouraging growth and development either for career or life. Delivered 121 for 3 x 1 hour sessions.
